Houdini Texturing Tool Asset
Dear Houdini Users,
i am very excited to share this Project File of the Houdini Texturing Tool with you.
The Brickwall above is entirly build and created in Houdini 16.5 without the need of extra textures from outside of Houdini.
Latest tested Houdini Version 19.0.589
- loading can take a while - depending on your system specification - on my 11600k 12 core it took about 20 seconds to load.
What is the Core Idea of Houdini Texturing Tool:
This so called tool or workflow is build for creating procedural textures - completly inside of Houdini 16.5. The Idea and workflow is a similar approach to other 3rd Party procedural textur tools like Substance Designer.
What possible advantages has this "tool"?:
You dont need any plugins for building pattern based textures like walls or repeating textures right inside of Houdini.
The Project File which i provide here - could be improved for rendering on Online Renderfarms like Gridmarkets. But those abilities are not included in the file, cause every Renderfarm has different specifications, but its possible to do it, without the need of further plugins.

Download the Game Development Toolkit from Sidefx on:
https://github.com/sideeffects/GameDevelopmentToolset too.
This is important otherwise you will have embedded Assets in the File which is not nice;)
